Minions are dedicated to serving the most despicable masters. Given their inability to keep those masters, the Minions fall into a deep depression that several of them, Kevin, Stuart and Bob decide to go up looking for a new evil master. The Scarlet Overkill chosen is a supervillain trying to gain mastery of the planet with the help of her husband, an inventor named Herb.
Universal took the attractiveness of Minions creatures animated films "Gru" to create this prequel set during the end of the 60s after an introduction about the origin of its protagonists.
The film is disappointing. His humor is puerile in a poor plot, overlaying the charm of its unusual heroes superfluous yellow to a story about loyalty and need for objective contrast between bonhomie-villainy, innocence-malice.
